Why does audio delay occur
Depending on the signal transmitted by the broadcasting station, an audio delay may occur in some or all of the TV programs they broadcast. There is a slight difference in the processing speeds of video and audio signals. Usually, this difference is not noticeable, though it can be at times. If the issue does not originate with the broadcaster, another cause for the audio delay could be a faulty connection involving an external device connected to your TV. Occasionally, a slight audio mismatch can occur due to differences in the transmission speed of video and audio signals from external devices, such as set-top boxes.
